• Made of 108 incredibly small, well used dark bodhi beads with a red hue.  Each bead is rich in color with a beautiful sheen as well as its own shape and texture.  Mala has been restrung in recent years on bold red cord in a unique fashion with added antique bodhi accents.
• These dark-speckled seed beads have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom.  "Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.

This mala comes from our DharmaShop curated collection.  It comes from a small batch of antique bodhi seed malas that we sourced from one of our favorite Tibetan antique mala collectors in the ancient city of Bhaktapur.  Its energy and history is as vibrant and powerful as the city from which it came!  Each mala incredibly special and features high quality antique bodhi seed beads strung on bold red cord.

Mala measures approximately 40 inches around.  Beads are around 10mm with some 9mm.  Guru bead is about 17mm.  Comes with a DharmaShop keepsake bag!
