• True antique bodhi seed mala purchased directly by DharmaShop founders, Sander and Christy, on their trip to Kathmandu in October 2019.  It has a vibrant energy that you can truly feel when holding the mala!
• Made of 108 small, well used bodhi beads.  Each bead is rich in color with a beautiful sheen and texture.  These antique beads have been restrung in the last couple of years on dark brown cord and matching bodhi guru bead.
• These dark-speckled seed beads have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom.  "Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.

On their trip to Nepal in October 2019, DharmaShop owners, Christy and Sander Cohen, acquired this mala from a Tibetan gentleman on the steps of the monastery just outside of the Boudhanath Stupa.  He had a small collection of gorgeous antiques from which Sander and Christy were able to purchase a handful of high quality bodhi malas.

Mala measures approximately 42 inches around.  Beads are mostly 10-11mm.  Comes with a DharmaShop keepsake bag!
