5 inch cast bowl with a handsome black finish and stunning gold accents.
The outside of the bowl is hand painted in gold and decorated with the mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hung. This mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion. The inside of the bowl features the Buddha's wisdom eyes, which look out in the four directions to symbolize the omniscience of a Buddha. They are so prevalent throughout the country that they have become a symbol of Nepal itself.
This is a shallow bowl, measuring about 5 inches in diameter. All bowls come with wooden striker.
