Pashmina comes from Pashmineh, made from Persian pashm ("wool"). The special goat's fleece has been used for thousands of years to make high-quality shawls that also bear the same name. Cashmere shawls have been manufactured in Kashmir and Nepal for thousands of years and were popularly called Kashmiri wool shawls.
Our new chocolate brown 100% pashmina shawl has a luxurious soft texture and is a bit heavier then our 'water pashmina' which is a silk and pashmina mixture. Our 100% pashmina collection is the highest quality pashmina collection on the market and includes the very popular fine quality fringe.
