Our new Tibetan singing bowl was hand picked in Kathmandu from a stunning collection of carved singing bowls. This incredible bowl is cast, hammered, polished, and etched entirely by hand. It features a detailed image of Buddha Shakti, or Samantabhadra, on the inside base of the bowl along with the repeated mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum, in Tibetan script along the inside rim.
The Buddha Shakti pose portrays an image of Samantabhadra embracing his consort. This pose represents the union of wisdom, compassion, and also enlightenment, with its qualities of satisfaction, bliss, unity and completion.
The outside rim of the bowl is decorated with the compassion mantra in beautifully detailed lotus petals. This mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.
The bottom of the bowl features the symbol of Om, which considered the most sacred mantra. It is an amazing tool that all people of all faiths can utilize to bring focus and awareness to the greater meaning of life.
